Supermac’s. Owned by Martin Lynch (RIP) before Supermacs. Originally the home of the Howley family – Thomas Howley, his wife Kathleen, son Thomas and daughters Valerie and Mary.

Lynch’s. Gerard Lynch (d 1957) and his wife Mary had a drapery shop. They had 5 children: Joe, Mary, Eileen, Martin and Seamus.

Paddy Powers Bookmakers: Previously it was a Drapery shop owned and run by Thomas and Nancy Coppinger and their son Michael. Before that it was the Blackhall and McDonagh business.

Gardiners Undertakers: Owned by Paddy Gardiner and run by himself and his brother Gabriel

Ulster Bank. The living accommodation is unoccupied since retirement of Con Walsh. He and his wife Peggy and family lived thereIMG_0365

AIB Bank: Formerly Athenry Post Office. The residential area is unoccupied. The last Postmaster was Hugh Griffin.

Flanagan’s Pharmacy: Previously occupied and owned by the O’Neill family. The present owner, James Flanagan is from Headford. His sister Ann lives over the shop.
