The annual Mass was celebrated by Father Brendan Kilcoyne P.P., assisted by Father Benny McHale C.C. and Fr. John O’Gorman P.P., Lackagh.

After Mass the Pilgrims did the ‘Rounds of the Well’ saying the Rosary as they walked on this holy ground just as their ancestors have done since 1249 when a soldier fleeing from the First Battle of Athenry encountered Our Lady.
