Hubert Madden

generously donated the site for the erection of Lisheenkyle National School in 1950.

Up to that time his own children and neighbouring children had to walk several miles to attend Coldwood N.S.

A Plaque to honour Hubert was unveiled by Noel Grealish T.D. in the presence of his family

Hubert’s children and grandchildren were present at the unveiling of the Plaque
